Welcome to AVCAP and thank you for your support of youth in aviation in the Coulee Region.  Did you know that over the next 20 years the United States will need more than 110,000 new airline pilots?  But that, at current pilot development rates, our nation is only on track to produce roughly 35% that number?

Those two statistics tell us that America’s aviation industry is headed for a crisis.  We need today’s youth to see aviation as the vibrant and growing field that it is.  Today’s students need to understand all the aviation career options out there: mechanics, unmanned vehicles, engineering, piloting, and more.

But guess what?  Today’s youth are pretty busy people.  Helping communicate the message of aviation through the chatter of daily life isn’t easy.  That is why AVCAP exists – to help find youth who have some inkling of aviation and give them opportunities to explore their desires, dreams, and abilities.

To that end AVCAP serves to support youth-focused aviation organizations in La Crosse and surrounding areas such as the Civil Air Patrol, Young Eagles, and more.  We invite you to support our work by providing youth with your financial and volunteer support.
